We've been traveling--time to update this blog

Since our trip to Death Valley in March, 2012, when we started this blog, we have discovered three other locations we think are great for QRPeditions.  One of the best locations for operating QRP is near saltwater. We live near the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean so finding saltwater locations is not difficult. But when we found a fairly remote beach where we could actually park the motorhome on sand we had to go.

Our trip to Jalama Beach near Lompoc, CA and Vandenberg Air Force Base took place the second week of November, 2012.  Here is a link to some pictures of Dave Crocker, W6VYC, Hiro Kato, AH6CY, Harley Hahn, KJ6BRF, and myself, Dave, W6DLF.
